West Coast Pasta Project is an entity created to enable existing sandwich chains, take 'n' bake pizza retailers and specialty food shops to introduce restaurant quality take home prepared entrees at affordable prices. The project uses a network of commercial kitchens to cook, package and deliver highly profitable product for sale in attractive yet inexpensive displays at existing outlets. The cost of installing display units and related labor costs are minimal, usually less than $40,000 per store, and can provide incremental sales of $400,000 annually.
